The Prostate Health Education Network (PHEN) hosted a Managing Prostate Cancer Survivorship Meeting and Webinar on January 14, 2026, bringing together patients, caregivers, advocates, and healthcare professionals for an educational discussion focused on informed decision-making and survivorship care.
The event was held in a hybrid format, with attendees joining virtually and in person at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. The session was led by Dr. Keith Crawford, PHEN’s Director of Clinical Trials and Patient Education, who served as both moderator and featured speaker.
During the program, Dr. Crawford highlighted three PHEN online portals designed to support individuals navigating prostate cancer:
PHENPSA.com – Prostate cancer screening and early detection education
PHENPath.com – Guidance on prostate cancer treatment pathways
PHENTrials.com – Access to prostate cancer clinical trial information
Dr. Crawford reviewed prostate cancer screening recommendations based on guidance from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and discussed how PSA testing is used as part of early detection. He also explained common treatment approaches, how care decisions can be personalized, and how clinical trials work.
To ensure this information remains accessible beyond the live event, PHEN has made the full session available to watch online.
